Esperanza Flores, 76, Deming resident passed away Saturday October 31, 2020 at Lovelace Medical Center in Albuquerque. Esperanza was born June 10, 1944 in Namiquipa, Chihuahua, Mexico to Carmen Muñoz and Librado Ortiz. She moved to Deming in 1998 coming from Mexico and was a homemaker. Esperanza was a member of the Catholic Church and enjoyed cooking for her family, knitting and had a green thumb with plants. She will be greatly missed!
She is survived by her loving husband, Pedro Flores of the home; children, Jose Alfredo Flores of Deming, Sylvia Flores (Jorge Juarez) of Tucson, AZ, Gilberto Flores (Claudia) of Spearmint, TX, Esgardo Flores of Deming and Yesenia Flores (Hector Rodriguez) of Deming; siblings, Elva, Ramona and Maurilio Ortiz all of Mexico; 17 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Esperanza was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sons, Lucio Flores and Cesar Armando Flores; sister, Natividad Ortiz.
