Ernest “Dick” Price, 62, of Goshen, died at 5:23 a.m. Tuesday (May 12, 2009) in Valley View Healthcare Center, Elkhart.
He was born Feb. 27, 1947, in Elkhart to Max and Elma (Sedam) Price. He married Mary Lou Hutchison on Sept. 8, 1967, in Edwardsburg, Mich.
She survives along with two daughters, Jodi (Mark) Freshour of Constantine, Mich., and Julie (Mike) Booth of Blaine, Minn.; five grandchildren, Matt Booth, Alex Freshour, Olivia Freshour, Devin Booth and Katie Booth; two sisters, Marilou Mucha of Chesterfield, Mo., and Joanna (Bob) Arber of Euless, Texas; one brother, Dennis (Vida) Price of Elkhart; his mother, Elma Stewart of Elkhart; his brother-in-law, Wm. F. Hutchison of Elkhart; and his stepmother-in-law, Neva Hutchison of Elkhart.
Dick was preceded in death by his father, Max Price; a brother, Jim Price; a sister, June Ann Price; and his stepfather, Willard Stewart.
After working in the RV industry for 36 years, Dick retired as sales manager from LaSalle Bristol. He was a former employee of Bristol Products.
Dick served in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged. He enjoyed his golfing and westerns.
