Ernest Hezekiah “Ernie” Wolfe, 81, of Terre Haute, passed away October 5, 2016. He was born September 11, 1935 in Verona, Tennessee to Ernest Marvin Wolfe and Ilene (Smith) Wolfe. He was a member of Jehovah’s Witness. Ernest worked for over 60 years in the flooring industry, he worked up until he was 74. Ernest enjoyed being outdoors, gardening and fishing. Family was the most important in his life, they always came first. He will forever be remembered as a loving husband and father. He was preceded in death by his parents and son Matthew Wolfe. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Patricia (Davidson) Wolfe; children Kimberly Miller, Scarlette Lerche, Marlette Fuquay, Jane Messex, Cindy Little, Ricky Wolfe, and Angela Alkire; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; siblings James Wolfe, Albert Wolfe, Virginia Wolfe, Franklin Wolfe, Donald Wolfe, Anthony Wolfe, and Candice Thompson; and several nieces and nephews.
