Mrs. Ermal Reed Bowers was born December 11, 1935 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was the daughter of John Willie Reed and Mary Louis Powell Reed.
Ermal gave her life to Christ at an early age.
Ermal entered into eternal peace on Friday, April, 12, 2019 at the age of eighty-three years, eight months and eleven days. She answered God’s summons to come home to a land where she will know no pain.
Ermal was preceded in death by her parents John W. Reed and Mary Louis Powell Reed and her son Gus Reed.
Ermal leaves to cherish her precious memories, her son; Byron C. Reed (Diana); her daughters; Charlene J. Moultrie Reed, Kecia M. Reed Anderson and Brenda Evans: grandchildren; LeVon R. Bates, Nefertiti T. Reed, Gus E. Anderson Jr. Tiffany Garrett and LaToya Slaughter; great-grand children; Asia M. Bates, LeVon R. Bates Jr., Jalin D. Bates, Ramsey C. Bates, Bryson V. Bates, Taijah Nelson, LeBryant Garrett, DaMalah Garrett, Ziyah Andrews and Charles G. Bell; her furry grand daughters; Angel and Precious one brother; William Lewis Higgins; four sisters; Anita Austin, Melissa Higgins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
