Erma Victoria Jenkins Mitchell, 94, Anderson, died March 3, 2011 at Community Hospital, in Anderson after a brief illness.
She was born November 21, 1916 in Benedict, MD, and had lived in this area for the past 26 years. Erma was a homemaker and a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church. Her other memberships included the Senior Citizens Group at St. Ambrose, Mendon Homemakers, Our Lady of Lords Circle and past member of the Madison County Chorus.
She is survived by her five children, Carol Peten of California, Jean Dave Beechler of Pendleton, Donald Mitchell of Nora, IN, Frances Roger DeCoux of Texas and George Janis Mitchell of Greenfield; fourteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nepehws.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Mitchell, in 1973; daughter, Evelyn Vachon and eleven brothers and sisters.
