Erika Lynn Lundholm Tardy, a loving mother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend, left our family unexpectedly at the age of 46 on December 13, 2021. Born in Denver, Colorado in September, 1975, Erika lived with her parents and grew up in Littleton, Colorado until 1993 when she graduated from Sheridan High School. She also attended the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. She lived in the Denver area until 2012 when she relocated to Northern Ohio with her youngest son.

Erika is survived by her two sons, Ethan and Aiden Tardy,  parents, Elaine and Edmond Tardy, sisters Anne-Marie Tardy, (Tyler Prout), Elizabeth Martin (Jonathan)  and Amy Tardy; her nephew Rylan and niece Teagan, many cousins, and aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her father, Gary S. Lundholm, her maternal grandparents, Andy and Elsa Arnoczky, and her paternal grandparents, Richard and Marjorie Lundholm.

Erika was a true “Free Spirit” with a bubbly personality. She was lively, cheerful, and loved to talk, making friends easily with her infectious smile and genuine kindness.

She loved dazzling makeup, creative tattoos, and had a flare for fancy vintage clothing. She dedicated her life creating eccentric art and made countless pieces using various mediums. Even her specialty cakes were phenomenal. She loved music, and as a young girl taught herself to play the piano by ear. Erika loved to socialize and knew how to have a good time; cherishing special occasions spent with family and friends. She never judged others and accepted people for who they were.

Erika was our “Wild Rose”. She worked very hard to create her own best world. Many times however, her challenges dampened that bright and bubbly spirit.  We all loved her so very much and supported her throughout those times.

Erika, each of us will do our best to get past the terrible sadness in our hearts, and will always remember your tender soul and all of the wonderful and special things that were uniquely you.
