Erik Alan Sheffler, 21, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away with his family by his side August 7, 2015 at 5:39a.m. in his home. He was born on January 8, 1994. Erik had a personality that was larger than life. Despite his illnesses his entire life, Erik always remained happy and full of life. He changed everyone who knew him. He was a privilege to know and to love. Erik was a wrestling fan, and he enjoyed rock-n-roll. One of his greatest moments was getting to meet Gene Simmons. Erik is survived by his parents Lesa and Michael Key; sisters Morgan Key and Cassandra Sheffler-Fox; brother Michael Key Jr.; grandmother Linda Weddle; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Jerry Key and Keith Raley.
