Erich N. Wild, 74, of Indianapolis, passed away at home on December 27, 2012. He was born on November 3, 1938 in Indianapolis to the late Herman L. Wild and is survived by his mother Helen K. Wild McCarrel. Erich was married to Roselyn Speedy Wild on June 20, 1959 in Indianapolis, who survives. Erich graduated from Manual High School in 1956 and he served on the Reunion Committee. He was a board member of Manual 50 year Club. Erich also served on the Perry Senior Citizens and Friends of Garfield Park Boards. He was also a member of the Ohio Valley Military Society, Southport Lodge No. 270 F. & A.M.
Erich was employed by H.L. Wild Jewelers, Zales Jewelers and L.S. Ayres. He owned and operated McCarrel Jewelers for 31 years, retiring in 2004
Erich is also survived by daughters Sandra Wild, Cynthia (Mark) Banks and Katherine (Danny) Cutshaw, all of Indianapolis; his grandchildren Krystal (Todd) Helmold, Derich and Rachel Cutshaw, Elliott Banks and Lindsay Wild and great grandson Tristan Helmold. He is also preceded in death by his sister Rosalinda Wild Eichholtz.
