Eric Keith Parsons, age 29, of Grafton, passed away, Tuesday, December 14, 2010, at his residence. He was born in Morgantown, WV, October 19, 1981, a son of William Joseph Parsons, of Grafton and Debra (Weaver) Parsons Spragg, of Fairmont. Eric was a loving father and enjoyed his children, they were his world. He was a 2000 graduate of East Fairmont High School. He was a WVU Mountaineer fan and a Dallas Cowboy Fan. He enjoyed watching football and basketball. He liked to fish. In addition to his parents he is survived by: three children, Logan Nathaniel Parson, Maddison Joann Parsons, and Eric Joseph Parsons, all of Grafton; one brother, William K. “Billy” Parsons and fiance’ Lisa Korosa, of Fairmont; two step brothers, Chad M. VanDevender, and Bobby Lee Carter, both of Grafton; maternal grandmother, Billie Jo McDaniel, of Grafton; maternal grandfather, Terry Weaver and wife Mary, of Grafton; step mother, Carol Sue Parsons, of Grafton; step father, Robert Wayne Spragg, of Fairmont; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many friends including his close friend, Donald Reed, of Grafton. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jim and Evelyn Parsons, and his maternal step grandfather, Howard McDaniel.
