Peacefully surrounded by his family, Eric Jon Anderson joined the Lord in Heaven on Saturday, September 25, 2021. He had courageously battled heart complications for many years until God called him Home at the age of 37.
Eric will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Greg and Sherrill; sister, Carrie (Scott); nephews, Ashton and Teagan; and nieces, Camryn and Emily.
Eric was preceded in death by his grandparents, Betty and Marvin, Arden and Eva; and sister, Jennifer.
“I really enjoyed my life and find the afterlife amazing and lovely and free of troubles and walking with the Lord daily.” These were the words Eric wrote about his life one month ago. What a gift he gave to those around him.
Eric had many loves in his short life. They were: God, his beloved cat, M, Frank Sinatra, traveling, family/friends and good food-especially his mom’s spaghetti, cucumber and tomato salad and marble cake. (If you know his mom you have most likely tasted her cooking and understand his love!!!). He also loved visiting, oh how Eric LOVED to talk! (We are certain he is visiting with his grandma and sister right now!!!) His proudest moment was when he graduated from Kirkwood Community College in 2019. What an amazing accomplishment that he worked so hard to complete!!!

We know Eric is so well taken care of now that he is in God’s hands. Please take one lesson from his short life. Live every single minute to the fullest!!!
