Emory Ernest Eshelman was born in Nampa, Idaho, on July 11, 1936, to Ellis Eshelman and Genevieve Lembke Eshelman. He joined two brothers and would later have another brother and sister. Emory graduated from Kuna High School and then the BJC Auto Body Repair Program. He also went to the Auto and Diesel School in Nashville, TN. But in his heart of hearts, Emory was a farmer. Even when he was working in town in the auto body business during the day, in his spare time (evenings, week-ends, holidays) Emory would be found in the fields of our farm in Melba. Emory married Arlene Keiter in 1957 and two children, Julie Ann and Todd Vernon, were born to that union. During that time they moved to California. In 1967 Emory returned to Idaho and farmed with his brothers Carl and Charles. He also worked in several different auto body shops in the Boise Valley. The one he enjoyed most was the shop he retired from, Bass Auto Body.
The family would like to thank Meadow View Rehabilitation for the wonderful care he was given while there as a resident.
Emory is survived by wife, Barbara; sons, Todd (Carleen) and Glenn (Natasha) and daughters, Sheryle (Bruce), Julie (Richard), and Sarah (Dean). He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, daughter Tamra and one son Bruce Eshelman.
