Emma Macias Marquez, 89, of Bayard passed away August 23, 2020 at Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces.
Emma was born January 24, 1931 in Deming, New Mexico to Luz Gonzales. A lifelong area resident, she was a homemaker to her family and a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses. Emma enjoyed cooking for her family and loved the time spent together. She will be dearly missed.
Emma is survived by her son Rudy M. Marquez; her daughter, Diana M. Miranda; grandchildren, Maxine R. Marquez, Rudy A Marquez III, Abie, Fabian, Danny, Steven, and Armanda Miranda, & April Quiroz. Great-grandchildren, Rayzhine, Chantel, Ian, Danae, D’zhyre, Alleana, and Rochelle. Emma was preceded in death by her loving husband, Rodolfo, in December of 2016, granddaughter, baby Maxine A. Marquez and several other family members.
