Emma M. Gray (nee: Stace) of Edgewater Park, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday at the age of 90. Emma was born in Trenton and was a lifelong New Jersey resident. She was employed by NJ Bell Telephone and retired as a supervisor after 35 years of employment. She was a member of the Bell Telephone Pioneers as well as a member of Corpus Christi Seniors. Her joy was her family, her passion was cooking, baking and canning. She was also an avid Phillies fan. Emma was married for 34 years to the late John H. Gray, Sr., she is survived by three daughters; Barbara (Graves) Tunney and husband James of Beverly, Judith (Graves) Speak and husband Curtis, Sr., of Grande Praire, TX.,and Joan (Gray) Miller and husband Steve of Garnet Valley, PA.
Also surviving her are seven grandchildren; Michele Adams and husband Phillip, Letha Salaga and husband Mark, Deirdre Clauser and husband Robert, Stacey Speak and Fred, Curtis Speak, Jr., Kristin Miller, and Steven Miller, Jr., and nine great-grandchildren Brooke Franquet and husband Jeffrey, Jonathan Tunney, Erin Pypiak and husband Michael, James McKenna, Elizabeth Amaya and husband Roberto, Matthew McIlveene, Cole, Morgan and Cameron Clauser, and two great-great grandchildren Madison Emma Franquet and “Lil Pip” Pypiak.
She is also survived by her niece Jacqueline DiRienzo and husband Nicholas and many other nieces and nephews. Emma was predeceased by her seven siblings.
