Emagean Burleson, 82, of Ida, Arkansas went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 24, 2015. She was born June 6, 1932 to Frank and Della Foust. Emagean loved to play music and sing. She thoroughly enjoyed shopping, and she was very seldom seen without wearing some type of jewelry. Emagean’s love and devotion to her husband, her family, and to God stood out more than any of her other qualities. Her personality was so inviting, and she made everyone feel loved and welcome no matter the place or the circumstance.
Emagean was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters: Cory Foust, Abigail Galloway, and Delpha Noah; two brothers: Kenneth Foust and Herbert Foust; and one granddaughter, Summer James.
She is survived by her husband of sixty-four years, Buck Burleson; two children: Eddie (Kim) Burleson and Rita (Paul) Eddings; seven grandchildren: Misty (Ronnie) Chism, Shannon (Flint) Bradford, Eddie Jr. (Dee) Burleson, Dallas (Jennifer) Hipp, Christian (Ben) Hammond, Dusty (Brittany) Hipp, and Cloud (Chris) Thomas; sixteen great-grandchildren; two sisters: Ruth Hartwick and Eula Mannon; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
