WINSTED – Elzwood E. Minard, 62, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 15, 2021 with his family by his side. He was the loving husband of Deborah (Lopes) Minard for 27 years. Born October 20, 1958 in Winsted; the son of the late Elzwood C. Minard and Marie (Terry) Minard. Eli was a hard worker, always busy, enjoying camping and fishing. He loved spending time with his family especially his cherished granddaughters. In addition to his wife, he leaves his beloved children, Jake A. Minard and wife Victoria of Southington and Jocelyn Minard of Winsted; beloved granddaughters, Grace and Isabella Minard of Southington; two sisters, Betty Bishop and Sandy McCullough, both of Torrington; and several nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by three sisters, Linda Hubbard, Patty Hubbard and Debbie Martin. Per Eli’s wishes, there will be no services at this time.
