Elwyn L. “Butch” Matthews, 67, The Villages, FL, formerly Indianapolis, passed away July 7, 2014. He was born January 16, 1947 at Indianapolis to the late Elwyn and Marjorie Holzhause Matthews. Butch married Jennifer Starr August 9, 1979 at Indianapolis, who survives. Other survivors include daughters Kimberly (Jason) Wisen, Santa Rosa Beach, FL. and Michelle (Don) Lidy, Speedway; son Jeffery Matthews, Speedway; grandchildren Savannah and Sydney Wisen, Rachel Matthews and Lindsey Lidy; two sisters.
He was the owner of Premier Real Estate of Destin retiring in 2006. Butch was a former member and past President of Southside Business Booster Club. He was a graduate of Speedway High School and attended Indiana State University. His life passions were family, golfing, fishing, racing and photography.
