Elwin J. Beidler, 90, formerly of Linden, died Monday, October 25, 2010 at Manor Care North following a brief illness.
Elwin and his wife, the former Sara Jane Aderhold, observed their 49th wedding anniversary on September 3, 2010.
Elwin was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific and receiving the Bronze Star.
Elwin owned and operated Beidler’s Garage and then went to work for Bergren & Baier in South Williamsport until his retirement.
Born Feb. 26, 1920 in Bodines, he was the son of Warren W. and Blanch D. High Beidler.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Ina Rae Little of Williamsport; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Elwin was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Harry Beidler.
