Pat passed away at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at the age of 92. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII, actively involved in the Battle of the Bulge and had received three bronze stars. For many years he was employed as an electrician for Georgia Pacific then General Motors from where he retired.
Pat was an avid golfer, but the most important part of his life was his family. He was united in marriage to Stella E. Patterson, who preceded him in death on July 29, 2013. He was also preceded in death by his brother Clifford Rhodes, and by his grandson Jeff Rodgers.
Surviving are his daughters, Judy MacPhee (Jim) and Fay Rodgers-Mero (Mike); his sons, Mike and Gary Patterson; his grandchildren, Kimberly Critz (Ben), Stephanie Wojcik (Jeff), Wesley Rodgers (Mandy); and his great-grandchildren, Sara Rodgers, Madelyn and Natalie Wojcik.
