Elveta Milby 87, of Spring Valley, passed away, Friday November 20, 2020 at Aperion Care of Spring Valley.
Mrs. Milby was born May 27, 1933 in Iowa to Hershel Wayne and Juanita (Piercy) Weger. She married James Milby on December 24, 1953 in Jefferson IN. He passed away May 21, 1979.
Elveta worked as a teacher aid, was a homemaker and loved to sew quilts and solve cross word puzzles. Survivors include her children; Beverly Hoyt of LaSalle, James Milby of Peoria, Thomas (Beth) Milby of Oglesby, Fern Milby of Spring Valley, Fred Milby of LaSalle, Bobby Milby of Oglesby and Jeff Milby of Peru; 26 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mary (Ron) Pruett of Smithville, MO and Linda Clayburn of Estro, FL and a brother, Chester Weger of Chicago.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a daughter Wanda Morrison and three grandsons.Pallbearers will be Tom, Fred, Bob, Jeff and Nicholas Milby, and Richard Bugiyne.
