Elton Leroy Moyer 73, passed away on December 8, 2020 at his home is Westcliffe, Colorado. Elton was born on December 21, 1946 in Humboldt, Nebraska to Elmer and Mabel (Snell) Moyer. After Highschool he moved to Lincoln, Nebraska where he worked in construction for a few years. He then pursued a career as a newspaper pressman in Lincoln, Nebraska and then in Denver, Colorado.
Elton was married to Jane Uhri on October 8, 1965 in Humboldt, Nebraska. They recently celebrated 55 years of marriage.
Elton fulfilled his dream on building him and Jane a home the beautiful mountains of Westcliffe, Colorado.
Elton was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Mabel, his parents-in-law Gordon and Colleen Uhri, his son Brad Lynn Moyer, a brother, a sister and three brothers-in-law.
He is survived by his wife Jane, daughters Sarah Hagins (Festus) and Brenda Waltersdorf (Wes). Two brothers, one sister, four sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, seven grandchildren-Josh Roti, Justin Wessels (Tori), Beth Medina (Gerardo), Kelsey Junk (Greg), Haley Lampo, Wesley Waltersdorf, Jr (Rachel), Codey Waltersdorf, and eleven great grandchildren.
