Elsie Vira (nee Slezak) of Dumont was 95 when she passed away Thursday, July 16th. Born in Lansford, Pennsylvania she lived in New York before settling in Dumont over 60 years ago. Elsie was the beloved wife of the late Frank Vira (1997), the loving mother of Frances Martignetti and her late husband Anthony, the cherished grandmother of Donna Vetere and her husband Stephen Daly, Diane Domenech and her husband Derrick, and Denise Peters and her husband James. She was also survived by her great-grandchildren Anthony, Chris, Kristina, Stephanie, Jaime, and Devyn.
