Elsie Barnes Winkles, age 81 of Newnan, passed away Friday, April 25, 2014. She was born in Coweta County, GA to the late Leonard & Cammie Harrison Barnes.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Vivian Higgins and Ruth Hemrick. She was a member of Sargent Baptist Church for over 40 years. She retired from Playtex. Mrs. Winkles is survived by her husband W.L. Winkles; brother, Larcus (Brenda) Barnes of Newnan; and several nieces and nephews.
