Elsie Louise Hurder, 90, widow of Arthur B. Hurder of Bristol, passed away on Monday August 4, 2008.
Elsie was born on September 4, 1917 in Harwinton, CT a daughter of the late Henry and Verna (Bates) Potter.

Over the years she raised 13 foster children and had tea daily for 35 years with her neighbor Lorraine Thiem.
Elsie is survived by her sister, Muriel E. Dupree of Bristol; many nieces, nephews and several foster children.
She was predeceased by her sisters, Eunice and her husband Ed West, Evelyn and her husband Clarence Howland, Arline and her husbands, Joe DiYulio and Mack MacDowell; her brother Kenneth and his wife Gertrude Potter and
her brother-in-law Ernest A. Dupree.
