Elsie Gentzel, age 81, of Raritan Township, NJ, died Sunday, April 23, 2006, at the Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Township. She was born on May 27, 1924, in Newark, NJ the daughter of the late Joseph and Elsie (Lipfert) Martin and lived in Springfield, NJ and New Providence, NJ before moving to Raritan Township in 1965. Mrs. Gentzel was a homemaker and volunteered for many years at the Hunterdon Medical Center. Her husband, Alfred Gentzel, Sr. died in 1992. Surviving are two sons, Alfred Gentzel, Jr. of Bridgewater, NJ and Frederick F. Gentzel of Raritan Township, NJ; and four grandchildren.
