Mrs. Lilly was born November 1, 1930 in Durham, NC to the late William and Fannie Atwater. Mrs. Lilly was a very dedicated member at Bethesda Baptist Church and served in numerous positions at the church.
Mrs. Lilly is preceded in death by her husband, Hilton Laverne Lilly; parents, William and Fannie Atwater; great-granddaughter, London Rose Lilly.
Mrs. Lilly is survived by her son, William Van Lilly (Glenda); grandchildren, William Paul Lilly (LaWanda) and Sarah L. Giesler (Jaysun); 5 great-grandchildren and 6 step great-grandchildren.
