Mrs. Eloise Fagan
(Dennig), 97, passed away on Saturday May 29, 2010 in the Bentley Assisted Living facility in Branchville, NJ.
Mrs. Fagan was born in Kearny and lived there for 38 years. She later moved to North Arlington then Mahwah. She has lived in Branchville since 2002.
Eloise attended Roosevelt School in Kearny and graduated from Kearny High School in 1930. She graduated from Beaver College in Glenside, PA in 1934 with a B.A. in Education. She was a Kindergarten teacher for the North Arlington Board of Education for 25 years. She retired 36 years ago.
She was a lifelong member of the First Presbyterian Church of Arlington in Kearny. She sang in the Chancel Choir and was a former Elder/Trustee.
She was pre-deceased by her husband Leo Clifford Fagan, and her children Kathleen P. Felmly and Richard C. Fagan.
She is survived by two granddaughters Karen Felmly and Kristen Kelly (Alfred), her son-in-law Ken Felmly and one great-grandchild.
