Elodia Villarreal, 89, of Santa Maria, Texas passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 21, 2019 in Harlingen, Texas.Elodia was born in Santa Maria, Texas on May 2, 1929 to Jose Aguilar and Maria Cantu. Elodia was formerly employed by Santa Maria I.S.D. and worked in the agriculture business for many years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Eloy Villarreal; brothers, Abel Aguilar, Alberto Aguilar, and Arnold Aguilar.Left to cherish her memory is her son, Jose (Estela) Villarreal; grandchildren, Cynthia (Homer) Flores, Oscar (Rose) Villarreal, and Jose (Karla) Villarreal Jr.; brothers, Armando (Herlinda) Aguilar, Alonzo (Nancy) Aguilar; sisters Guadalupe Aguilar, and Ana (Joe) Davila; plus numerous great-grandchildren.
