Elna E. Donze, 81, of Iowa Street in South Bend, Indiana, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2005, in her home. Elna was born on January 19, 1924, in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Elmer and Dora (Otto) Stickler, Sr. She retired from Wells Electric Company after many years of service.
On November 26, 1941, Elna married Howard Wiseman, Sr., who preceded her in death on December 22, 1987. Elna then married Marinus Donze, Sr., in 1990, who preceded her in death in January of 2001. Surviving are her children, Sharron Lee Wiseman of Appleton, Wisconsin, Howard (Sandra K.) Wiseman, Jr., of North Liberty, Indiana, Gale (Karla) Wiseman of Modesto, California; step children, Ted & Betty (Donze) VanderBeek of South Bend, Jeane & Marinus Donze, Jr of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Terry & George Donze of South Bend, Bruce & Marti (Donze) Johns of Grand Rapids, Michigan; nine grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; seven step great grandchildren; and a brother, Niles (Linda) Stickler, of South Bend. A brother, Elmer “Bud” Stickler, Jr, and sisters, Rosa Chapman, Barbara Mudovich, and Betty Mendoza all preceded her in death.
