Elmer Roy Bohon, 85 of Tunnelton died peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 with loving family by his side.
He was born May 2, 1936, in Preston County, a son of the late Ora Declton and Faye Sigley Bohon.
Elmer was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was a grader operator for WV Department of Highway. He enjoyed fishing, camping and tinkering with stuff in his “lab’ as he called it in the basement. He would get stuff at the auction, to tinker with. He loved to repair clocks of any sizes, shapes or colors. They were arranged all over the house causing confusion as to what was the correct time. He liked to ginseng and mushroom hunt. Elmer was a plain and simple man who loved his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Elizabeth Essie Knotts Bohon; his brother, Ray Bohon and wife, Lela, his daughters, Elizabeth Ann Zugar and husband, David and Donna Joyce Stull and husband, James; his sons, Ricky Lane Bohon and John Elroy Bohon and Wife Donna ; his grandchildren, Richard Moury and wife, Amanda their son, Seth; Megan Reckart and husband, Kenneth Jr. their children, Hannah and Ozlow; Jimmy Stull and wife, Kimmy their children, James Jr, and Alexandria; Jessie Stull and wife, Marie their children, Brian, Malcom, Donna Marie; Desiree Pforr and husband, Justin their children, Lucas, Stacy, Shyann and Liam; Aneva Holleran and husband Eddie their daughter, Allison; Katarina Dixon and husband, Adam.
In addition to his parent she was also preceded in death by his son, Roy Allen, his infant son and daughter and a brother.
