Elmer Ray James, 77, of Drasco passed away October 19, 2015 at the Baptist Hospital in Heber Springs. He was born in 1938 in Rosie (Independence County) to Albie James and Lilly McGuffey James. His survivors include two sons: David (Terrie) James and Scott (Deanna) James; four grandchildren: Cole Goodson, Cody James, Bailey James, and Brody James; two great grandchildren: Whitley Goodson and Grady James, all from Drasco; one sister, Juanita Wright of Florida; and two brothers: Albert James and Donald James both of Heber Springs.
