Muncie-Elmer Jones Jr., 53, passed away Saturday afternoon, October 15, 2011, at his mother’s residence following an extended illness. He was born on, October 1, 1958, in Muncie, the son of Elmer Issac Car and Velma (Morris) Jones Sr.
He is a 1977 graduate of Cowan High School. Elmer married Mary Beth (Sharp) – Jones on April 23, 2010 in Noblesville and she survives.

Besides his loving wife Mary Beth, he is survived by three sons, Elmer “Issac” Carl Jones III, Eric David Jones and Stephen Jones all of Muncie; one daughter, Ava Sharp-Jones, Fishers; three sisters, Beth Huddleston (husband-Mike), Winchester, Mary Alice Jones and Brenda Landers (husband-Rob) both of Muncie; Mother, Velma Jones, Muncie; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, and one sister, Karen.
