Elmer John Fullmer was born July 1, 1927 to John and Emma (Sodoka) Fullmer in Montezuma, Iowa. He passed from this life Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at the Wayne County Hospital in Corydon, Iowa at the age of 86 years.
Elmer worked for John Deere and Keith Kent construction. He was a proud driver of a caterpillar dozer. He enjoyed playing guitar and banjo in a band called, “The Hillbillies”.
Elmer was preceded in death by his parents, John and Emma Fullmer. Elmer is survived by his wife, Mazie Marlene Fullmer of 66 years of marriage; two daughters, Kathy Ann Fullmer (Victor Martin) of Perryville, Missouri and Vicky Lee Larrington of Coydon, Iowa; grandchildren, Jill (Ray) Hyson of Blue Springs, Missouri, Justin Larrington of Fair Bault, MN, Patrick (Simona) Martin of Moberly, MO, Laurel (Josh) McClellend) of Arab, MO; great grandchildren, Ryan Paye of Columbia, MO, Patricia and Sean Martin of Moberly, MO.
