Elmer H. Sieck passed away on September 22, 2012 at St. John Lutheran Home in Billings, MT at the age of 99 years, 1 month and 3 days. He was born on August 19, 1913 on the family farm near Emerald, Nebraska to Fred and Bertha (Hass) Sieck. He received his education in Nebraska and was a farmer northwest of Lincoln, Nebraska. On August 29, 1937 Elmer was united in marriage to Nelda Beckman at Trinity Lutheran Church near Malcolm, NE. He served as a volunteer fireman, fire board member and was active on various church boards. Elmer was a member of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Malcolm, Nebraska. He lived for 95 years in Nebraska prior to moving to Billings, MT to be near his daughter and family. Elmer was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nelda Sieck; two brothers, Walter (LaVerne) Sieck, Milton (Dorothy) Sieck; one sister, Minnie (Bill) Boehmlehner. Elmer is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Frank Felke, Billings, MT; son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Kay Sieck, Omaha, NE; three grandchildren, Pat (Nancy) Felke and Alan (April) Felke of Seattle, Washington and Lynn (Royal) Caraveau, Billings, MT.; and three great grandchildren. Zachary (Jessica) Felke, Camden Caraveau and Kaiden Caraveau.
