Elmer A. Zeleny age 62 of Geneva passed away Thursday December 27, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born August 23, 1950 in Berwyn, Illinois the son of Elmer and Colleen (Rooney) Zeleny.
Elmer worked many years as a plumber for Mendel Plumbing and Dorr Plumbing and was a union plumber for Local 501. He was a Navy Veteran serving on the USS Constellation. He also was a longtime member of the St. Charles VFW Post 5036. He loved to cook and had cooked for many years at the Kane County Flea Market. He also enjoyed camping.
He is survived by his longtime companion Ann Campbell-Rea; Two sons Sean and Matthew both of Geneva and daughter Victoria; brother Kevin (Sandy) Sunday of Geneva.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
