She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert T. Villegas in 2020; her parents, Francisco Salazar in 2018 and Eulalia Del Valle Salazar in 1996; and her brother, Emilio Salazar.
Elma leaves to cherish her beautiful memory, her loving children, Roman Gabriel Salazar (Connie), Christopher Michael Salazar (Valerie), Robert Villegas Jr., and Robin Villegas; nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren; siblings, Noe Maldonado (Guadalupe), Manuel Maldonado, Flora Olivarez (Norberto), Maria Estella Salazar, Samuel Salazar (Veronica), Carmen Julia Patterson (Rosario), and Javier Salazar (Lori); along with numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.
