Ellen Rosalie Woodlon, 92 of Morgantown, formerly of Maryland, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013. She was born September 30, 1920 in Brooklyn, MD, daughter of the late James and Jeanette Williams Watkins. Ellen graduated from Douglas High School in Baltimore, MD and also from Cortez Peters Business School. She worked as a Clerk for the Department of Motor Vehicles. Ellen was an increditable cook and was very active in numerous organization in MD. She was a member of the John Wesley United Methodist Church in Glen Burnie, MD. Ellen is survived by four children, Windy L Woodlon, Baltimore, MD, Jeffrey W Woodlon and Sandra, Glen Burnie, MD, Jill J Powell and Todd, Baltimore, MD and Wanda W Cox and Otis, Morgantown; one daughter-in-law, Dianna Wooodlon, Owings Mill, MD; one son-in-law, Marcus Reid, Glen Burnie, MD; fifteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Ellen was preceded in death by husband, William Hamilton Woodlon in 2004; two children, Barry B Woodlon and Sara J Reid, one brother and three sisters.
