Ellen P. Fader (nee Moran) was 95 when she passed away peacefully Sunday, January 24th surrounded by her loving family. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, where she met and married Robert Fader. In 1953 Ellen and Robert left Brooklyn for New Milford, New Jersey where she lived for over 50 years before moving to Englewood, New Jersey. A lover of music and an award winning painter, Ellen was a member of the Women’s Club of Englewood and the Rosary Society of the Church of the Ascension, New Milford. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert “Cy” Fader, the loving mother of Robert Fader and his wife Nancy, Marie Fader and her husband James Neujahr, Patricia Koterba and her husband Joseph, Ellen Fader and her husband Vince Mazzini, Sarah Fader and her husband Gregory Anthon, and Paul Fader and his wife Jill. Ellen was the devoted sister of Sister Catherine Moran and Nancy Boardman. She was predeceased by her brother William Moran, a sister Betty DeMartini, a sister Kathleen Moran, and a sister Dolores Bennett. Ellen was the cherished grandmother of Sean Fader, Sarah Koterba, Allison Koterba, Lauren Cusano, Gus Anthon, Maxime Anthon, Jack Fader, Lucas Fader, Morgan Fader, and Sydney Fader. She was the proud great-grandmother of Kayla Cusano.
