Ellen Lee Pulliam, 85, of rural Westcliffe, passed away February 12, 2013. She was born on December 6, 1927 in Denver, Colorado to Perry H. and Mary A. (Bullock) Dickey. Ellen graduated from East High School in Denver and the University of Denver. She taught school in the Denver area for 40 years. She married the love of her life, Charles Henry Pulliam, Jr.; he preceded her in death. Ellen was very active with the Association for Retarded Children. She enjoyed archery and bowling. Ellen is survived by her daughters, Charlee Pulliam and Sheryl Pulliam; grandson, Jesse Strobel; great grandchildren, Skyler Strobel and Kadence Strobel; and brother, Perry J. Dicky.
