Ellen Irene Trevorah, 85, of Palatka, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021, at The Ponce Therapy Care Center in St. Augustine following an extended illness. She was a native of Tamaqua, PA, and returned to Putnam County in the 1970s coming from Sanford. Ellen had worked as a cafeteria worker for the Putnam County School District as well as Rosier Oil and Florida Furniture Industries. She, along with her late husband, Thomas, had also worked for the ARC of Putnam County. An avid powerlifter, Ellen was a member of the United States Powerlifting Federation, Inc. and held both state and world records in powerlifting. Ellen was a member of the First Baptist Church of Palatka.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Thomas Arthur Trevorah, and son, Carl Thomas Trevorah, sisters, Margaret Barber, June Leiby, and Louise Hunt.
She is survived by her son, Kent Robert Trevorah (Dreama), daughter-in-law, Linda Renee Trevorah, grandchildren, Heather Young (Matthew), Steele Trevorah (Melinda), Corey Trevorah, and Toni Langston, great-grandchildren, Mina Young, Aivery Langston, and Ryder Langston.
