Ella Mae (Reeves) Carraco, 84, of Anderson, passed away on February 5, 2018 at the Community Northview Care Center in Anderson. She was born on March 17, 1933 in Carroll County, Kentucky and resided most of her life in Anderson.
She married her husband, James William Carraco in Noblesville in 1951. Ella was a homemaker. She was generous of heart and took care of her family. She was a devout Jehovah’s Witness and enjoyed pioneering with fellow members.
Ella is survived by her loving daughter, Deborah (Michael) Ferris of Fortville; son, Farrell (Leonila) Carraco of Anderson; granddaughter, Brandi Carraco; step-grandchildren, Ryan (Ginger) Ferris, and Michelle (Trenton) Priser; great-grandchildren, Brooke, Dakota, and Dylan Moore; and step-great-grandchildren, Samantha and Maxwell Ferris. Also surviving is her cherished Chihuahua, Bridgette, two sisters, several nieces and nephews, and very special friends, Rebecca and Ramon Guerrero, and Evaline and Ed Davis. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1995; parents, Ben and Bessie Reeves; brothers, Sterling Reeves, James Reeves, Levi Reeves, Charlie Reeves, and Thomas Reeves; and sister, Cordellia Harmon. The family would like to thank Great Lakes Hospice, Community Northview, Community’s Monticello House, and Community Hospital for their loving care of mom.
