Macclesfield….Ella Faye Batts Webb, age 86, went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday, August 24, 2022.
She was a bible scholar, always anxious to teach others. She dedicated her life to library science and taught many people to read. She was devoted to her grandchildren, and they brought her great joy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cooper and Polly Ellis Batts; husband, Arthur Lee Webb; son, Robert Alton Webb; four sisters and three brothers.
She is survived by her daughters, Betty Zimmerman of Elm City, Carol Jones (Denny) of Lucama, and Pattie Dunn (Eddie) of Macclesfield; sons, Arthur Ray Webb of Stantonsburg, and Will Webb of Pinetops; one fur baby, Diva; eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
