Ella Brackett-Steele, 91, of Terryville and formerly of Bristol, widow of Morris Brackett and Alex Steele, died Thursday (May 3, 2007) at the Bristol Hospital
She was born August 6, 1915 in Cadyville, NY, daughter of the late Fred and Eva (Favro) VanGorder. A lifelong resident of Bristol, she had moved to Terryville five years ago to live with her daughter, Shirley.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ernest and Vivian Brackett of New Britain; a daughter, Shirley Anderson of Terryville; eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
