Elizabeth Marie Zellner passed away Thursday March 24, 2011 at a nursing facility in Huntsville, AL.
Marie was born in Newton, AL and married to the late James Milton Zellner, president of J. N. Zellner and Son Transfer Company for almost 59 years. Mrs. Zellner made her home in Barnesville, GA for about 14 years and before that lived in East Point, GA for about 45 years. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Joseph Lawrence Hand and the late Mrs. Viola Clark Hand. Mrs. Zellner was their youngest child and last surviving member of their ten children. Marie and her husband Milton were charter members of the Cherokee Town and Country Club in Atlanta, GA.
Mrs. Zellner is survived by her daughter Chrystie Zellner Uckotter and husband Daniel of Huntsville, AL; her granddaughters, Marie Uckotter, Anna Uckotter, and Martha Uckotter, all of Huntsville, AL.
