Elizabeth V. (Pasquarelli) Lawrence, 98, of Leominster, died Wednesday, February 27, 2013 in UMass Medical Center, Belmont St. in Worcester. She was born on January 17, 1915, in Fitchburg, MA. She was the daughter of Quincy and Santa (Giambrocco) Pasquarelli. She was a graduate of Leominster High School Class of 1933, where she played intra-class basketball, even though she was only 5’1″. She loved to play the piano and played for the high school at several events. She worked in the office at the Foster Grant Co. for 17 years in Payroll, before retiring. Elizabeth was a member of St. Leo’s Parish in Leominster, a member of the Living Rosary, and the former member of the Blessed Virgin Sodality. She is survived by her son, Richard W. Lawrence, of Naples, Florida, her daughter, Sheila M. Roy, of Leominster, her sister Gloria R. Palazzi, of Leominster, three grandchildren; Cheryl Sexton, of Naples, FL, Brain Lawrence, of Centerville, MA, Karen Phillips, of Lehigh Acres, FL, six great-grandchildren; Christopher Sexton, Kaitlynn Sexton, Shauna Lawrence, Brian Lawrence Jr., Ashley Phillips, and Kaylee Phillips. She also leaves step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many loving friends. She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years Albert G. Lawrence who died in 2002, and her sister Geraldine B. Poirier, baby sisters, Esther and Veronica Pasquarelli; daughter-in-law, Anne Lawrence and son-in-law, Reginald Roy. She will always be remembered as a person who laughed often, smiled much and loved everyone always. We also know she can hear loud and clear now.
