Elizabeth Jane Seanor, 92, of South Bend, passed away on Wednesday August 27, 2014, in the Sanctuary at Holy Cross. She was born on June 26, 1922, in Clarion, IA, to the late Herbert Keith and Dora Jane (Cole) Eike. On January 3, 1942 she married John T. Seanor, Jr., who preceded her in death on September 26, 2012. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Melissa Seanor and a brother, Herbert Eike. Elizabeth is survived by her daughters, Mary (Dennis) Borowski and Christine (David) Durkin, both of South Bend; her son, John H. (Sandi) Seanor of Edwardsburg, MI; nine grandchildren, Gregory (Kelli), Brian, Daniel (Amie) Krawiec, Jennifer (Matthew) Hamby, Kristen (Jason) Turnage, Gregory, Christopher (Karen) and Michael (Julie) Seanor and Kristin (Seth) Whitaker; 18 great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. She retired in 1984 from Holbert Engineering, where she worked as the office manager for 20 years. 3545 N. 3545 N.
