Elizabeth Anne “E.A.” Rosenthal, 83, of Three Oaks, Michigan, died Sunday, October 25, 2009 at Jordan’s Life Care Center, Bridgman.E.A., as she was called by her family and friends, was born November 9, 1925 in Buchanan, Michigan to Elmer and Lolita (Dewey) Rohen. She graduated with the Class of 1944 from Three Oaks High School. On September 26, 1947 she married Carl Rosenthal who preceded her in death on October 3, 2004.
Elizabeth worked in the offices at Clark Equipment Company and Zeiger Lumber Company and also part time at Tower Hill Camp. She was a member of St. Mary of Assumption Catholic Church, Three Oaks and the Home Extension Club. Elizabeth was a big Cubs fan and enjoyed following the team throughout the summer and also spending time with her granddaughter.Survivors include her daughter Sandy (Bill) Rosenthal-Nemeth of Chicago, Illinois; sons Jerry (Tammy) Rosenthal of Galien and Scott Rosenthal of Three Oaks; granddaughter Alyssa Rosenthal; sister Virginia Beldorth of Three Oaks and brother Don Rohen of South Bend, Indiana.Cremation has taken place.
