Mrs. Elizabeth Rickles-Eatman, age 87 of Sharpsburg, passed away on March 9, 2016 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Dewey and Willie Boynton Hobgood. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Nora Fay; also her husbands Roy Rickles and Bob Eatman.
She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother who devoted her life to providing a nurturing home for her family and friends. She was a long-time member of Turin United Methodist Church.Her ongoing legacy will be in those to whom she devoted her life. Her children are Michael Rickles and his wife Barb and her daughter Mildred Apgar.
Her surviving sibling is Noah Hobgood and his wife Jean. She was grandmother to Michael Rickles, Jr., Dave Tolbert (Jennifer), Chris Rickles (Tonya), Shannon Tolbert, Laura Payton (David), Heather Ray (Fred), and Eric Arnold (Jessica). Her legacy lives on in 17 great grandchildren and one great- great -grandchild.
