Ms. Elizabeth Onevia Smith of Lake Wales, Florida, peacefully passed away at the age of 84 on March 28, 2020 in the comfort of her home in Turin, Georgia. Elizabeth resided in Asheville, North Carolina for 55 years before moving to Georgia. She worked at NOAA in downtown Asheville until her retirement. She was a proud member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Elizabeth Smith is survived by her daughter Betty Bryant (Rick) of Turin, Georgia, grandchildren Michael Stevenson (Krista Smith) of Newnan, Georgia and Seth Stevenson (Melinda Stevenson) of Sharpsburg, Georgia, six great-grandchildren, Sarah (Antoine), Shelly, Katelyn, Ashley, Michael, and Abigail, and one great-great-grandson, Kayden. She is preceded in death by her parents, Fredrick and Bertia Smith, and her three siblings, Margaret, Hazel, and Fredrick Jr.
