BENTONVILLE- Elizabeth Jones, 98, formelly of the Bentonville community, passed away Friday October 9, 2009 at the Pine Knoll Rehabilitation Center in Winchester. The daughter of the late Ernest Columbus and Mary Edith (Sellers) Smith. Elizabeth was born on October 2, 1911 in Putnam County, Indiana. Elizabeth was a 1929 graduate of Greencastle High School and attended Business College in Indianapolis. On June 21, 1931 in Paris, Illinois she married Lowell R. Jones. In 1938 she and her husband made their home on a farm north of Bentonville and during that time was a member of the Posey Township Home EC Club and WCBC- Womens Club of the Bentonville Community. She enjoyed crocheting, baking and her grandchildren
Surviving relatives include; 2 daughters; Kathryn L. Williams of Farmland and Carolyn Shedd (husband Curtis) of Connersville; son, Richard L.
