Elizabeth L. Lacher, 73, of Terre Haute passed away Monday March 10, 2014 in Union Hospital. She was born April 18, 1940 in Nogales Arizona to John and Violet Smith Johns. Elizabeth worked as a title clerk at Doan and Decker Ford and later worked at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and loved gardening, fishing, and also loved her cats. She was preceded in death by her husband; Donald Lacher in 2010. She is survived by two sons; John Lacher and his wife Barb of Woodbury Minnesota, and Jeff Lacher and his wife Mary of Terre Haute, one sister; Susan O’Keefe of Albuquerque, New Mexico, six grandchildren; Zachary, Brennan, and Jake Lacher, Jeff Lacher and his wife Dana, Karen Allen and her husband Joe, and Heather Waggoner and her husband Aaron, five great grandchildren; Jeffrey and Katie Lacher, Joey Allen, and Marissa and Avery Waggoner, as well as very special cousins; Mick and Anna Rukes. She is also survived by many other friends, family, and loved ones.
